Wisconsin Virtual School (WVS) is the state-led supplemental program, authorized by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to partner with local school districts to provide online options to students. WVS has a variety of K-12 course options for learners, including state Advanced Placement (AP), electives, and world language. Students who take online course(s) with WVS remain enrolled in their local school district.
To get started with WVS, contact your local school district counselor. If you are not sure who to contact at your local school district, reach out to us at wvshelpdesk@cesa9.org or 715-453-1953.

How to Get Started
Once a student account is created, you will receive an auto-generated email with your login information. If needed, click the "Forgot your Login and/or Password" link on the WVS Login page to have the information re-sent to your school email address. If you don't receive the information in your email (check your spam folder), your district Coach can resend your login information or reach out to us at wvshelpdesk@cesa9.org or 715-453-1953.
Student Orientation
View the K-5 or 6-12 WVS Overview Genius and Buzz video for a brief orientation. We recommend new 6th through 12th grade students take the free WVS Student Orientation course to become familiar with the platform and tools needed to participate in WVS online courses. If you do not have this as one of your courses and would like to add it, contact your district Coach.
