Contact your local Coach and school IT for help with most tech issues. Examples of technical issues include not being able to access your course, the course is not loading completely (browser issue or filter issue), there are email issues, plug-ins needed, an issue with your school device (such as a Chromebook), etc. The Computer Technology Readiness for WVS Online Courses document is made available to learners in Orientation and all Coaches/local schools to help ensure student technology is compatible with WVS infrastructure.
You can also:
- Check the Student FAQs: Technology Support section, to see if your question is answered there.
- Try these Browser and Timeout Troubleshooting steps on your own or with the help of a parent/guardian. These may be good to check before contacting your local Coach, or you could try them while you are waiting to hear back from your coach or local school IT staff.
- You could also try accessing WVS using a different device.
Are you experiencing other issues?
- For technical issues, start with your local IT department or Tech Support as noted above.
- If you forgot your password or username, use the "Forgot your Login and/or Password" link on the WI Virtual School login screen. You can also ask your local Coach for help.
- Questions related to your course work and course content should be directed to your online teacher.
- Any other issues with your online course can be sent to the WVS Help Desk at wvshelpdesk@cesa9.org. You can also call the WVS Help Desk via phone at 715-453-1953. The Help Desk is staffed during weekdays (non-holidays) from 7:30 am-3:30 p.m (summer hours vary).
