WVS courses are aligned to national and state standards. Course goals and objectives are available upon request. Each course is equal to .5 credits, which is granted by the local school district upon completion. Course fees are charged per student, per course and include registration, software, course facilitation by a Wisconsin certified teacher, and technical support.

Information/requirements for World Language courses:
Materials Needed: Microphone, speakers  and audio recording software required for completing oral assignments.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to how our online content provider, Middlebury, names their courses, we have some recommendations on how to handle placement and transcript documentation.

NOTE:  French 2 Fluency, French 3 Competency, Spanish 2 Fluency, and Spanish 3 Competency are native quality speaking/listening; rigor and vocabulary are at a higher level.

We suggest the following:

  1. Review and compare the course description and curriculum guide by clicking the course links above.
  2. Request WVS Curriculum Review (full course access in a student view) to determine which course best meets your student’s level based on their previous courses and knowledge of the language.

CHROME browser is recommended.

For more information regarding the Spanish and French Sequence Recommendations view this document.
