Accessible Communications in Genius

November 2, 2026 4:00 to 5:00 pm. This session focuses on improving the accessibility of communication emails in Genius. Participants will review a sample (or their own) through an accessibility lens, explore common platform limitations, and use a modified accessibility checklist to guide improvements and future planning for more inclusive communication.

Everyday Digital Accessibility: Practical Strategies for Educators and School Staff

Build practical digital accessibility skills you can use in your everyday work! This self-paced, hands-on, virtual professional learning opportunity helps educators and school staff understand Title II ADA and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility expectations and, more importantly, put them into practice.

Genius at Work: Improving Your Workflow

December 3, 2026 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Unlock the potential of our Genius SIS. In this session, we’ll move beyond the basics to explore efficiencies and shortcuts. Learn how to let the system do the heavy lifting so you can focus on what matters most—supporting your students.

In the Loop Series

"In The Loop" is a monthly professional learning series that assists online educators in navigating Google Workspace and Gemini. The workshops are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Each session will deliver practical strategies to streamline workflows and build AI literacy. Teachers will explore ways to enhance their instruction while maintaining human-centered pedagogy. Hope you can join us!

WDLC Educator Workshop

The WDLC Educator Workshop offers digital educators positive and collaborative learning opportunities. It consists of a series of monthly virtual events held October through May. Its goal is to facilitate discussions and idea sharing among Wisconsin educators on high-interest topics such as student engagement in an online learning environment. This opportunity is open to all interested educators!
