Teacher Bio:I earned my BS in Mathematics Education from Bogazici University and my MA in Math Education from DePaul University. I also earned another master's degree in Educational Leadership from Marian University. I have been teaching mathematics for 30 years.
As a math teacher for both high school and middle school students, my teaching philosophy centers around creating a learning environment that fosters curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking. My goal is to teach mathematical concepts and instill a love for the subject in my students. I also focus on creating a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and critical thinking. By using real-world examples, incorporating technology, promoting collaborative learning, and providing individualized instruction, I aim to instill a love for math in my students and help them succeed in their mathematical pursuits.
