Greetings!

My greatest joy comes from spending time with my family. I am married with four children. Our favorite activities are swimming, camping, and traveling. Theater is also a large part of our lives. All of us have graced a stage through our local community theater. My husband writes plays and mysteries and he and I both have also directed many productions. Other interests of mine include film, literature, music, and quilling. My dream is to one day publish a novel and/or write and produce a play.

Professionally, I knew from a young age on that I wanted to be a teacher. My career began in 2001 and over the years I have taught just about every English course available both in a building and online. I love that there are so many learning pathways to help make an education accessible to all. I am a passionate advocate for virtual education as it puts students and families first. My favorite part of teaching is watching students defy the low expectations placed on them as they walk proudly across that stage at graduation.
