Teacher Bio:

I have dedicated my career to teaching and inspiring students. With a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I have spent over 18 years teaching ESL in China and more than 12 years teaching K-12 Mandarin both in-person and online. As an instructional designer, I am skilled in using Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, and Captivate to create engaging and effective eLearning courses.

Beyond my professional life, I have a range of hobbies that keep me active and fulfilled. I enjoy swimming, which helps me stay fit and refreshed. I’m also passionate about stock trading, where I find excitement in the strategies and market dynamics. Cooking is another love of mine, particularly experimenting with new recipes and flavors, especially Asian and spicy dishes that my husband and I adore. Traveling allows me to explore new cultures and cuisines, broadening my horizons and enriching my teaching practice.

I believe that every learner has the potential to thrive with the right support and resources. My goal is to create a learning environment that is both challenging and supportive, helping each student achieve their full potential. Whether it’s through interactive online courses or engaging face-to-face lessons, I am committed to making learning a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all my students.
