Teacher Bio:

My name is Ms. Arts and I am an online mathematics instructor. I graduated from University of Minnesota Moorhead for BS in Secondary Math Teaching. I completed my graduate studies in Math Education at UW Oshkosh. I taught high school math courses, including Algebra 1 & 2, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus 17 years for a public school. I have been teaching online math courses for WVS since 2002. I currently teach High School (9th-12th) Pre-Calculus, Honors Calculus,  AP Calculus AB,  AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics at WVS. 
I believe students learn best in a constructivist environment where learners construct their own understanding through exploration and inquiry. I am convinced that with the right support, every child can thrive online.

In my free of teaching time, I like to travel, take pictures, and make drawing and paintings. I also like playing video games. I enjoyed playing Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom (Zelda).
