Teacher Bio:

Hi, my name is Kathy Jones and I have been a special education teacher for 21 years. I have mostly taught early childhood special education. I love to work with kids and help them grow. I live on a small hobby farm outside of Sparta, WI with my husband and daughter, who is a second grader. We love to spend time outside in our woods and with the animals that we have. We have a dog, 3 cats, pigs, and chickens. When I am not teaching, I like to travel and learn about new places and cultures. I also like to swim, bike, read, and spend time with my family. During down times, I do like to be creative through writing or making crafts with my scrapbooking stuff or quilting. I believe that all kids can learn and be successful in what they are passionate about or what they like to do. All kids can learn through whatever mode will make them successful in school and in life. Our world is always changing, so the way we teach needs to change too.
