Teacher Bio:

I have been in love with the Latin language ever since I started to study it 30 years ago. I find it so useful for so many things, especially other scholarly subjects like science, law, medicine, theology, math, history, and others, as a knowledge of Latin is very helpful with terminology, and it is extremely beneficial when studying other Romance languages, and even helps us to understand English better. I have been teaching Latin for 25 years and see Latin at least once a day in my everyday life. Because of all of this, I am so excited that there are still students who want to learn a language that people call a "dead language" and so many people don't understand why it would be useful at all. Let's change all of their minds!

I love hanging out with my family, my garden, my plants, my books, and my cat named Luna. I play the bass guitar and my husband and I like to have music nights where he plays guitar or mandolin and I try to follow along with the bass. I find that life is an adventure and I love to learn new things.
