Teacher Bio:

My name is Elizabeth Sanger-Kuckkan, but the kids call me Ms. S! I am a proud mama of 3 children: MaKenzie, Sydney, and Beckett, and 3 pets: Sully (the big lazy cat), Khione (a yappy Sheltie), and Loki (a 5-lb Biewer Terrier with adorable attitude).      

With over two decades of dedicated experience in the field of education, I have been actively engaged in student development since 1997. During my career, I have served as a first-grade educator, followed by a decade-long role as a reading interventionist and instructional coach. Transitioning into the digital realm, I spent three years as a virtual teacher before assuming my current position as the Associate Director of Intervention Services for CESA 9. In this role, I am committed to providing essential literacy support to districts, educators, and students alike.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I prioritize quality time with my family, engaging in creative crafting activities with my mother, and relishing moments outdoors. My unwavering passion lies in promoting literacy and discovering innovative approaches to empower all students in their journey towards reading and writing proficiency.
