WVS courses are aligned to national and state standards. Standards alignment documentation and information are available upon request. Each semester course is equal to .5 credits, which is granted by the local school district upon completion. Course fees are charged per student, per course and include registration, software, course facilitation by a Wisconsin certified teacher, and technical support. AP, HS, and MS courses are $295 per semester per student. Credit Recovery courses are $200 per course per student.
All courses are semester courses, and students are given up to 5 months (approximately 20 weeks) from the date of enrollment to complete each AP, HS, MS, or Credit Recovery course; see Credit Recovery page for more infomation.

The NO COST Student Orientation Course is a short independent study course that all WVS students should go through before starting their regular online course(s). LEGs or parents who are enrolling students at WVS can enroll their student(s) in the WVS Student Orientation Courseat the same time as their other courses.
School district staff who would like to review a course may contact WVS for curriculum review access.
