Teacher Bio:

I teach to ensure that every student sees equitable growth, builds their confidence to be successful in their present and future, and achieves academic success.

I mostly teach English and history to newcomers at a high school. My students are from all over the world and represent 11 different language groups. Every single one of them learns differently, and that's what I love about working for WVS. It provides an opportunity for students who benefit from the mostly independent model. Therefore, I've worked for WVS for about 10 years now.

On a personal level, I have three children, two dogs, and a lot of lightsabers, LOL. I compete nationally and regionally in lightsaber combat, play guitar, play bass, and enjoy unplugging near a body of water when I can.
