Teacher Bio:

I have been an English teacher for twenty years and have taught online courses for the last eleven years for middle and high school students. My husband and I have two sons: one is working on becoming an electrician, and the other recently completed his degree in physics. I love to read and travel - I have been to 47 of the 50 US states and several countries overseas. I also enjoy kayaking, biking, spending time with family and friends, and I really love my job! For the last fourteen years, I have helped chaperone student trips to Germany with high school students in the summer. It's such a great way to learn a language! My favorite stress reliever is to do yarn work - specifically crochet and cross stitch - to make things I love to give away. I also have two dogs (Odie and Cinnamon), one fabulous aquatic turtle, Speedy, and three chickens named Inky, Blinky, and Pinky. Life is good!
