Teacher Bio:

I started my Spanish language learning journey when, as a second grader, I memorized some phrases I found in a book. In high school and college, Spanish was always my favorite class. I was extremely fortunate to travel to both Spain and Mexico while in high school and to later study abroad at the University of Barcelona while completing my Bachelor's degree. 

I have continued to travel frequently to a variety of Spanish-speaking countries in order to improve my linguistic skills and improve my cultural understanding. 

Yes, learning a language is challenging! I believe, however, that learning about other languages and cultures is an incredibly rewarding experience that really opens students' hearts and minds.
