Teacher Bio:

My name is Dan Burau, and I have been teaching art for twenty years in the classroom and for over ten years in an online setting. I have had the privilege of teaching art, photography, animation, and design through WVS over the past several years, and I love to see the growth of students through this online platform.

I strive to provide regular feedback to students, allowing them an opportunity to respond and grow. A goal for my students is that they utilize tools and resources to enhance their learning. This empowers students to discover new things through trials and experimentation. We are all lifelong learners, and our resourcefulness and ability to find creative solutions lead to ever-expanding opportunities.

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching movies, and playing games. However, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing the fantastic artwork that my online students produce. I am always amazed by their creativity and dedication, and I have a wonderful time coaching them through the process.
