Summer Session 2008

June 16 – August 8, 2008

Students can get ahead or catch up during the summer by enrolling in our summer school session. Any Wisconsin resident of middle or high school age is eligible to attend. WVS recommends students take no more than one to two online courses at one time. Students should discuss this with their school counselor or Local Education Guide.


Online Middle and High School Courses


Choose from a full complement of courses in Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Languages, Electives, and Advanced Placement.


Registration:
$325 per half-credit semester course.

Online Credit Recovery Courses


Wisconsin Virtual School’s Credit Recovery High School Courses can help:

·         Students make up credits for graduation.

·         Prepare students for state exams.

·         Dropout students get back in school.

·         Provide educational equity to each student.


Registration:
$270 per half-credit semester course.

How to Enroll in Summer Session 2008

 

Enrollments for Summer Session 2008 will be accepted from May 27 through July 11, 2008. All students must be enrolled through an authorized school or school district. Home schooled students can be enrolled by their parents.

 

For Students:
Consult with your school guidance counselor to ensure you choose the appropriate class(es) to receive credit. Your counselor will enroll you, unless you are a home-schooled student.

 

For Schools:

·         For school districts currently using WVS courses: Use your current registration login and password to enroll students.

·         For school districts not currently using WVS courses: Please contact 715-453-2141 or wvs@wisconsinvirtualschool.org. Once authorized, your school/school district can enroll students and will be billed for classes approximately one month after enrollment.

 

For Parents of Home Schooled Students:

Please contact WVS at 715-453-2141 or wvs@wisconsinvirtualschool.org for a login ID and password to register your student online. If you are paying for your student's course, you need to send a check for the course fee to: CESA 9, Wisconsin Virtual School, P.O. Box 449, Tomahawk, WI 54487 after your child is enrolled online. When we receive your payment we will activate your student's course(s).
