Educational Experience:
I have had the great pleasure of teaching in the traditional classroom for eleven years and online since 2002.  Prior to teaching, I was a Chemical Engineer in the Chicago area for thirteen years.

Personal Info/Hobbies:
In my spare time I like to read – mystery, scifi and Brit humor are my favorites. 

Personal Statement about Online Teaching:
Online teaching is rewarding because I feel I’m offering my students another option for learning about the subjects that I love: Chemistry and Physics.  The challenge is learning how to understand what students need and how to help them without the benefit of seeing their faces or hearing their voices.
