Personal Info/Hobbies:
I
taught high school English full time for 4 years at
Mukwonago High School. After the birth of my son and
daughter, I decided to stay home to care for them. I
currently work part-time as a veterinary technician at a
holistic veterinary clinic and as a teacher for WVS. I
am an avid reader, and I also enjoy the outdoors. In my
free time, I like to do yoga, exercise with my kids,
organic gardening and vegetarian cooking.
Personal Statement about Online Teaching:
I am
so thrilled to be part of the online education
community. My passion for literature and my desire to
make a difference in the lives of adolescents has driven
me to become an educator. Both my mother and father are
public school teachers, and they instilled in me at a
young age that success in life is dependent upon a
quality education. I have kept this ideal with me
throughout my career as a student, and I now apply it to
my own classroom. I feel that every student has the
ability to learn. It is so exciting to be part of a
program that will help young adults move forward in
their quest for a flourishing academic career.
