computer network. In 2004, I began teaching math half

the District. In 2006, I moved to the Arbor
Vitae-Woodruff (AV-W) School District to teach
Information Technology and be the Technology Resource
Specialist for the District.
Personal Info/Hobbies:
I have been married since 1996, and have two young
children. We enjoy camping, bike riding, playing in the
park, playing board games, and doing puzzles.
Personal Statement about Online Teaching:
I am a firm believer that there needs to be a
mixture of teaching styles in a class, just as all
teachers do not teach the same way, students do not all
learn the same way. The teacher needs to give the
students the tools they need to accomplish their goal
and then be a facilitator to learning. Online learning
is another tool we can use to help students reach their
goals.
